facing a lawsuit. [take vo] [take l3] in holmes county, the city of lexington, and it's police department are being sued, the former police chief "sam dobbins" was fired month. its alleged he was recorded bragging about shooting a black man more than 100 times. 5 black residents have filing a federal lawsuit against the police department, they have also asked for a restraining order against the police officers, to keep the cops from retaliating against them. the lawsuit claims more than 200 black residents have been subjected to violence and misconduct over the past year.
